The First Step

In yesterday's post, I pointed out that the First Step to realizing those in power can now fuck us with impunity and remain in power, is to know AND UNDERTSTAND that elections in this country are now wholly fictitious.

I acknowledged that this First Step is a doozy.

I challenge you to read this and this, for starters. If you still think, as some of my dearest friends do, that election fraud isn't occurring or hasn't affected recent elections, then I'm more terrified than ever.

Yep--now what to do???

This is not unlike the information that citizenspook has presented--both cases are dilemmas in which a just/satisfactory end result seems unlikely.

Unless someone of significant stature comes forward and is able to start the fire of outrage--which surely must be there, smouldering at least, at this point in anyone that has some understanding of what these evil bastards are up to--and ya know, the half of it probably has not seen the light of day for any of the public find, let alone believe.

Reading your second "this" the one by Diane Perlman, Ph.D., initially provides a first aid kit of adhesive explanations for us, the post-fraudulent-election walking wounded. Temporarily, it eases the pain of indignation to put names to our diseases.

But Perlman's missive can be taken deeper, applied deeper, if you will. At least half of her offerings address our interior life. Denying or disregarding our interior life only leads to an outward projection of apathy and resignation onto the world. The truth is, we have total control over our interior lives. Our voices scream for clean elections, for clean air and water, for the right to choose what we do with our bodies. We have the volume but we are corked and squelched and the white noise machine goes on and we cannot penetrate the corridors and solid, hardwood doors and the government issue ear plugs.

The cure?...immerse the full body(the royal body): every limb; every finger; every little damn toe. Submerge every dyed in the wool, na na na na na-ing, dilusional repub AND every liberal sitting there in shock or frozen in a state of prayer asking "is this REALLY how this is supposed to go, God?" in boiling, life-giving "Consciouness Stew". Yeah, I know, woooo....But, fuck it, they've had their way with us too long. MUCH TOO lONG.

Go Cindy! Go Everyone! I exalt the shame you have revealed in our village idiot.

Rather "Consciousness Stew" or the ever-delightful variation: "Conscientious Stew"

TREASONGATE: A NEW CONSTITUTIONAL DISCOVERY:Pardons May Be Voided For Criminal Prosecutions Flowing From "Cases of Impeachment"

http://www.citizenspook.blogspot.com/

(Excerpt below is from above article:)

THE MYSTERY REVEALED: The Constitution Voids Pardons Aimed At Criminal Prosecutions Flowing From "Cases Of Impeachment" where the Senate has voted to convict.

By now, I'm sure you're wondering why I have consistently emphasized the term, "Cases of Impeachment". I have done this because the meaning those words are given by the Supreme Court in the very near future will determine, for all the world to see, whether our Constitutional Republic is truly protected by checks and balances or if we are a nation ruled by a federal mafia of made thugs.

The following is my ("anonymous") request of you "Blanston". Have you seen the above, citizenspook's latest article?--I would be keen to hear you comment on same.

I could not see any other way to contact you and I do hope you see this. Thanks.

Dear anon--

Regarding CS's latest post, I've skimmed it, and I agree with he/she that at least in the media, no one is discussing the sections he is that were used on Aldritch Ames, et al.

What I'm less sure of is whether or not it matters. The contents of the indictments do matter, but the failure of the media to discuss the contents of (traditionally) secret grand jury proceedings and accompanying indictments is just that: a failure.

We don't know what the prosecutor cooked up. There are other statutes that could also be used to prosecute the Plame leakers that have not been discussed.

CS makes a strong case--IF the indictments focus only on perjury or obstruction of justice.

And we still have, no matter what, the Pardon to deal with. Is pardoning treason treason itself? That question has never been answered, and you can bet, as I've lon said, that soon to be Chief Justice Roberst told Bush that he would vote that Bush could pardon everyone for treason and then walk himself--

Let's wait and see what they do with that vicious bitch Judith Miller. Is it not strange that Rove gave Cooper permission to talk but not Judith Miller? That can mean that Rove actually gave the data to Miller--or it could mean that Rove got it from Miller...who has long behaved precisely as a CIA press-plant would be expected to--

Anyway, sorry I have been offline. Being on the road will do that to you. Thanks for your interest.

Peace.

Gurn--So that article TREASONGATE: A NEW CONSTITUTIONAL DISCOVERY:Pardons May Be Voided For Criminal Prosecutions Flowing From "Cases of Impeachment",
didn't exactly set you on fire aye???

I guess a main issue would be that bushco would have to be impeached and the senate to convict in order to make all that CS outlined be real meaningful. That, at this time, seems a remote likely hood--I cant understand why that is the case--but there it is.

Thanks for responding.

By the way, if you could find the time to delve into some of the heavy duty issues of the day (of which there is no shortage--sadly), I for one would like to read your views. I think you are a clear headed thinker and I like your writing style.
